Gumbo's Kletzsch Clutch

A HUGE spey fly tied in the traditional form; the pattern was inspired by some materials Gumbo donated for my experimentation! Purple seems to be THE color for the Milwaukee River in Wisconsin, so hopefully this could someday be the pattern we reach for in a pinch.

Hook - Partridge (gotta get the size & model from Gumbo)
Body - Purple Angora
Rib - Purple Flashabou
Counter Rib - Gold Oval Tinsel (fine)
Spey Hackle - Blue Eared Pheasant, natural
Collar - Purple Spey Hackle (burned goose shoulder)
Wing - Bronze Mallard Dyed Purple
Thread - Black
