Rambling Reports is now on the North Shore of Lake Superior! In September of 2009, Renee and I made a huge move to Duluth, MN! This means new home waters, not to mention, they're much closer to home! Still doing guide trips in Northeast Iowa and Southeast Wisconsin. Since the move, I've had several inquiries about North Shore trips - I'm happy to teach folks how to fly fish up around Duluth, but I'm hardly qualified as a "fishing guide" up there just yet!

Fishing reports? I might actually catch up on them a bit now that I'm done with the non-profit I had to get started. It's been a crazy few years!

Guide Rates have changed for 2009/2010 - when I first calculated my rates, gas cost a buck a gallon. With the move, I've had to make some adjustments again! Still accepting guide trips on a limited basis - at times, they're my only excuse to get on the water!

Latest Rods! - #62, #63, #64, #65, #66 and #67, #68, #69, #70 all coming just as soon as I possibly can get around to them.

There are three different ways to find the report you're looking for using the menus above:

• Reports by Date - The MOST useful option - view reports in chronological order, with the most recent at the top of the list. You will also find the locations fished next to the dates, especially useful in finding out the last time I fished a certain region.
• Reports by River / Location - View a list of reports covering a specific body of water.
• Reports by Species - View a list of reports that cover a certain species; either sighted or caught on that day.

As time permits I will also be adding new sections of info I've found useful. You'll find these new areas as they are added to the black column at your left.
