5-09-03 - The Waukegan discharge definitely contained some fish this evening.

5-09-03 - A quick trip to the big pond produced a big smallmouth for the woman in our group!

So a quick Friday Night trip to Waukegan kicked off anohter weekend of fishin'! I met up with Chromeseeker and his GF at the discharge; about 10 minutes prior to my arrival at 7:30 she landed a heafty 2 lb. Smallmouth on a silver & chartruese spoon.

The fish were definitely in there..slappin the surface and having a good time at our expense. CS & I both went fishless here.

So we opted to head over to the North Pier around 8:00, at least I think that's where we ended up. Nothing was happening, and after another hour of fishin' we called it a night.

Tomorrow was going to be another tough day of fishin', with the tribs flowing higher than they have all season!
