8-18-03 - A night at the harbor with the crew and
the monkey!
Waters Fished: Kenosha Harbor (Lake Michigan)
Fish Caught: 1 landed
Outing Date: 8-18-03
Weather: Clear
Air Temp: around 85F
Water Temp: surface temps jumped into the upper 70's!
Water Level: normal
Water Color: clear and blue
Fish Species: Brown Trout
Pattern Fished: Kastmaster Spoons
Pattern Color: silver variations
Fishing Quality: Slowed from prior outtings
The entire posse showed up for this special Kenosha
outting with our out-of-town guest, the (in)famous ARCTIC SNOW MONKEY!
Now let me just say off the bat, that white hair is totally a pain...all
over my car seats!
Seriously though, we had a blast. Jacek, George,
Margret, Bart, Matt and ASM! Talk about your harbor crew. ASM brought
some of his covetted harbor tactics all the way from Ohio while
the rest of us worked it with our traditional local spoon techniques.
Bottom line, we stayed out well past dark, but
the only fish landed came right around 8:00...a small, but respectable
brown fell prey to Chromeseeker!
