10-28-03 - Indiana Tribs YOU ARE NOW MY B*TCH!!! MP HAS SHATTERED THE INDIANA CURSE BABY!

Fishing Quality: Still slow all things considered, but my best day in Indiana ever (so far ;) )

That's it, nothing else to say. I was very seriously considering that I'd never buy an Indiana fishing license again after such a poor year's worth of effort spent on the Tribs. Apparently this coho was too young to stick with the program a.k.a. "Don't bite MP's flies".

So I dedicate these Coho pics to Dave @ Creekside Outfitters and Bart (Chromeseeker), both of whom have been very instrumental in me FINALLY landing a fish in Indiana. Furthermore, I dedicate these pics to Rich Brown (FAT) for getting me into nightfishing for salmon. Heck, I dedicate this one to myself too, and to the curse, and to all those other folks who have yet to land a fish in Indiana. Finally, I dedicate this to all anglers who show perseverance in the face of adversity....persistence pays off.

BTW, Bart hooked up like on his 10th cast but didn't land it. The magic fly for me tonight was a home-tied leaded flying bunny with chartreuse tail and purple palmered body. No glowing components in tonight's offerings. Light-colored flying bunnies produced squat...stick to dark if nightfishing.
