6-21-04 - Why I haven't done this sooner?

Man, the best thing about this outing was the sunset and BOTH batteries for my camera were DOA. FN Battery Packs...you can't just go get them at the gas station.

I was headed up to see my folks, just a couple folks were fishing off the public pier when I got there around 7:30. I fished 'til about 9:00. There was a massive caddis thing going on...didn't look like a hatch, probably a fall.

I could've saved myself from the skunk by switchin up to ANYTHING little enough for a bluegill to eat, but to be fair the bluegills were so small my fly was bigger than some. I did have one bite, whatever...a tug that just as easily could have really been a weed. KINDA DISAPPOINTING folks. But it DOES count as a day I fished ;)
