After confirming that indeed the panfish season
was open, I walked out my front door being homebound while my Camaro
was once again in the shop. I NEEDED to fish...it didn't matter
that Como would be my one and only option.
Well, the cold north wind really made casting from
my south shore location painful. MANY casts were flubbed, simply
dying in the wind as they tried to extend outwards. I guess that's
what you get for using a 4wt!
Despite picking some of the most visible patterns
and working the prominent weed patches and rocks, NOTHING happened.
I seriously put in at least an hour before calling it a day on the
water....and all I have to show for it are some striking pictures
overlooking Lake Como.
