So Jim has been getting off early from work some
days...I wanted to try to hook up this evening with him and put
in some time on the water. Traffic in Chicago had other ideas.
By the time Jim and Leanne had made it to Oak Creek,
I hadn't even crossed the Wisconsin border yet. Push came to shove
and I found myself skipping out on the trip that far north, instead
settling for roughly 1 hour of fishing (vs. NONE) by going to the
Pike.
The action was rather quick and decisive once I
located the few fish that were in. In a mater of minutes I was 2/3.
After that, the action slowed (obviously) but I continued to fish
it hard until the moon was up and legal fishin' time was over. Gotta
say it's pretty good for an hour on the water!
