After building my first "Stealth Rod" which Randy C. promptly picked up (rod #24) I decided to make some small differences between the first and the second. Afterall, these are "custom" rods...I'd really like to avoid ever making two that are identical! So I switched the hook keeper for a traditional U-shaped and added a subtle pattern to the guide wraps. So while still overall the same rod as #24, it's not an exact twin.

Hmm...I'm getting to that point where there's a lot of repetition and relatively "new" stuff going on. I should point out that unlike some previous rods, I have kept the finish of the hook keeper separate from the finish that covers the inscription. That way, if I ever have to repair the hook keeper, I don't have to destroy the inscription part!
